- DOT requires testing for marijuana but not CBD
- Be wary of CBD product labels; these products could contain higher levels of THC than what the product label states

Virtual Impact
American roads are the deadliest they’ve been in years, and motor vehicle crashes remain the No. 1 cause of death for U.S. teens. DriveitHOME, a program of the National Safety Council, has teamed up with Honda to provide 15 free virtual parent nights in 2023 to help put an end to fatal crashes involving teens.
On Jan. 23, these virtual sessions kick off with an event in Texas. You can help make a difference in teen driver safety by encouraging your workers to register for this event. Share this flyer with friends, relatives and neighbors. While not all your workers are parents of teens, we all share the roads with new drivers.
At every joint DriveitHOME/Honda virtual event, parents will hear from roadway safety experts on the many risks facing their teen drivers, crucial driving data and state-specific teen-driver laws. They also will learn simple safety tips and discover resources to help them get involved and stay involved as their teens learn to drive.
